What can you see at the Morrison Nature Center?Star K Ranch is home to the Morrison Nature Center where visitors can walk, tour, study, learn, and witness Colorado wildlife in a natural setting. While on a trail, see mule deer, turtles, red-tailed hawks, American kestrels, western meadowlarks, great horned owls, blue jays, and coyotes, to name a few. There is a birding station for observing and feeding, as well as seasonally changing exhibits and plants on display.
What kind of programs are offered?The Star K Ranch offers various programs for nature lovers and enthusiasts, as well as numerous children's classes. The Cayote Call is a naturalist-guided walk and talks through the Aurora nature trails. Go on a bird walk, a kayak exploration, full moon hike, or a sunset stroll. Kids love the Jr. Rangers program, the Star K Kids, and Star K Nature Camp. There's even a class for tots, Little Naturalists. Whatever your interest or age, there is a program for you at Star K Ranch.
