Aurora Reservoir: Swimming, Kayaking, and Fishing
If you're looking for a place to cool off in summer or ice fish in winter, head to the Aurora Reservoir and enjoy Colorado's great outdoors. With a wide variety of fun activities including archery, paddleboarding, boating, fishing, and SCUBA, the reservoir is also an excellent venue for family gatherings, picnics, and photo shoots. Practice your backstroke in the seasonal swim beach open Memorial Day through September, and frolic around the 800-acre body of water all summer long. The trail around the reservoir is about 8.5 miles long and is a great option for bike rides, training for races, or a quiet walk in a serene setting.Details
