Dr. Stephanie Gripne will interview Kristi Petrie from the AJL Charitable Foundation about her investment and lending strategies in Colorado social ventures. With the guidance and educational support of the Impact Finance Center, the AJL Charitable Foundation learned about how private foundations can make loans and equity investments to both nonprofits and for-profits using Program Related Investments (PRIs).  About AJL Charitable Foundation and Kristi Petrie AJL Charitable Foundation's mission is to  Kristi Petrie, Director of the AJL Charitable Foundation, has been with the Foundation since X. She is responsible for implementing the Foundation's grantmaking strategy and daily operations, and she is a member of the Foundation's investment committee. Janice serves on the Colorado Nonprofit Loan Fund Board. In the past, Janice served on the Dean's Advisory Group for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado, Denver; Auraria Library's Center for Colorado; the West Advisory Board; and has been an advisory board member for the Global Livingston Institute. Janice earned her B.A. in Journalism and Public Relations from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, and her M.B.A. from the University of Denver's Daniels School of Business.
