About this event

The 4th Biennial Month of Printmaking (Mo’Print) event in March 2020 was poised to be the biggest and best celebration yet of regional printmakers and creative works of art. Unfortunately, nearly all events and activities were suddenly canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They are very excited to announce its return in 2022! By partnering with a critical mass of participating artists, galleries and other partners, this event serves to promote exhibits, workshops, demonstrations, and events that inspire, educate, and promote awareness of this art form throughout the Denver area and Colorado. The planners are delighted to announce the launch of 2022 programming that begins in January but has a focus of events during March—the official month of celebration—and some extending into April. The first Mo’Print took place in 2014 with enthusiastic attendance, and is marking its 5th run, deferring, every other year to the comparable Month of Photography.\ \ \ \ This year there are over forty exhibitions alone to explore across the front-range, that kick-off with some early openings on January 15th, 2022 at the Botanic Garden’s new Freyer-Newman Center gallery spaces, including printwork projects by Taiko Chandler and Hilary Lorenz. Next to open is the Print Educators of Colorado 2022 Exhibit at The Lincoln Center Art Gallery in Ft. Collins on February 26 from 4-6 pm. This is an exhibition of print educators from institutions of higher education from across the state of Colorado.\ \ \ \ The following are official Mo’Print coordinated events:\ \ Friday, March 5 - Black Ink: A Mo\'Print Fundraiser at TRVE Brewery, 6pm-Midnight\ Saturday, March 12 - Open Portfolio day at Denver Botanic Gardens Mitchell Hall, 1-4 pm\ Saturday, March 19- \"Print Jam\" Demo-day at the Denver Art Museum’s newly renovated Martin Building Education Space, 11am - 4 PM\ March 26 & 27 – Studio + Print Tour, 10am - 4pm\ April 16 – Steamroller Printing at RMCAD, 10am - 3pm\ \ \ \ Fundraiser\ \ In its
