Join members of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Renewable Energy Systems Amercas Inc. (RES) at the National Wind Technology Center in Boulder, CO to talk about the power women bring to the renewable energy industry. This is an excellent opportunity for students and professionals to learn about careers in renewable energy and pathways to them. The program agenda will include a brief introduction, a panel of professional women discussing careers in renewable energy, Q&A, and a tour of the National Wind Technology Center (NWTC). Attendees are encouraged to arrive at 12:45pm, although the program will not begin until 1:15pm. This will provide time for all attendees to get through security and to the meeting space. Space is limited for the panel and tour; there is only room for 65 attendees, therefore, RSVPs/tickets are required. PLEASE NOTE: The NWTC is a closed campus. Visitors must be pre-registered with security and arrive with government issued photo-id. If you are not a US citizen, there is a form that needs to be completed and submitted prior to arrival. Please contact Christa.Nixon@nrel.gov as soon as possible. Following the panel and tour program, there will be a social hour, open to anyone who is interested. The social hour will begin at 4:30pm at the Renaissance Flatirons hotel's Flatz bar and restaurant. Please RSVP here for the social hour.
